Nick Hern is a young guitarist, singer and songwriter who is exploding on the blues music world. Fresh out of high school he and his band won their local IBC competition and will soon release their first album of all original songs. Nick Hern, with bass player and brother Mike Hern, are veterans of the IBC having participated in the Youth Showcase the last three years. The brothers are joined by veteran harp player, singer, songwriter Rod Peterson and drummer, singer, songwriter Rick Bruner. Featuring both veteran and young musicians makes the fresh, harmonic sound of the NHB a mixture of somewhat traditional to energetic to contemporary blues. Come see why people in the Midwest are abuzz with this newly found group.
